Leann was born and raised in Florida, where she grew up surrounded by cows, horses, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, and turkeys. An upbringing that sparked her lifelong love for animals. After moving to North Carolina, she began her veterinary career in 2005 at an emergency hospital in Charlotte, where she discovered her true passion for veterinary medicine. As her family grew, Leann transitioned into general practice and joined our team in 2009. In 2010, she stepped into the role of Hospital Manager, a position in which she continues to thrive by leading, supporting, and developing her team while ensuring the highest level of care for both patients and clients.
Outside of work, Leann enjoys life on her small hobby farm in Anson County with her husband and son. Her animal family includes a German Shepherd named Kimber, a Pit Bull named Colt, a cat named B.B., and their newest addition, Remi, a Pit Bull/Labrador rescue puppy. She also shares her days with three Nigerian Dwarf goats Bud, Mary, and Molly and a wide variety of chickens. Leann hopes to one day add cows and a donkey to the farm, once she can convince her husband. Leann enjoys spending time with her family and friends, she loves gardening and most things outdoors.
